TUESDAY STORIES – MOUNTAIN VIEW

My son and his best friend were going on an all-day class field trip. The trip consisted of hiking up a high mountain. My wife and the best friend’s mom were both terrified about the trip. They forced me to go to the mountain and watch over our kids for the entire day. It was freezing!! I decided to update my wife and the other mom with regular text messages…I’m so thoughtful…

Text 1: The kids picked some wild plants to make a bouquet for you. Little whiners keep complaining about being itchy… Hmm…these boiling skin welts don’t look good…

Text 2: Hey…silly question…if the bone doesn’t actually stick out of the skin… then it’s not really a bad break right?

Text 3: Hi. The boys found a beaver near the lake! It looked hungry. I told Dylan it was ok to feed it…just out of curiosity…you didn’t have any plans on him becoming a concert pianist right?

Text 4: Hi…no reason to worry…just a quick question…what is your son’s blood type?

Text 5: Our boys are having such an awesome time! They are experiencing a bunch of new things. They just told me it is their first ride in an ambulance…

Text 6: Hey…the teachers must be really impressed with my leadership abilities…they just asked me to lead the search party!
