THE BACK STORY
The idea for this story came to me after my wife received a very fancy nativity set as a gift. She asked me to set it up. As I took everything out of the packaging and tried to arrange the nativity scene it became very apparent to my wife that I had no idea what I was doing.
I didn’t know the characters names, where they were supposed to be placed or even who they were supposed to be.
My wife was shocked that I never learned this in school.
Hmm…I do vaguely remember laughing in grade one when the teacher said the word “ass” when she talked about the manger. Then something about “Stop laughing….you never listen….one day you’ll need to know this…blah…blah…blah” Bah…what did she know?!
The FUTURE….apparently my teacher knew the future…
